We are blessed...

This past weekend was completely insane but so incredibly amazing and although I ran around from Thursday through Sunday I wouldn't have it any other way. We are blessed. My baby boy turned 7 on Friday and we started the day with a birthday breakfast, treats for school, a baseball game, ice cream and a sleep over. Saturday we woke to a birthday breakfast, baseball and a movie theatre birthday with 8 close friends. Hung out with some amazing people well until the kids were exhausted and woke up early on Sunday for the LGH Cancer Walk that we do every year.

This year was extra special because I was able to snap a few photos of a friend who had just finished his last round of chemotherapy just in time for the weekend walk. His crew of 40 family members and friends turned out in Blue #4 t shirts to show their love and support for Team Yessssaaaa. The day always brings tears to my eyes but seeing my family, those that have fought cancer and won, those that have just started their battle, those that continue to battle and loved ones we've lost always reminds me just how horrible this disease is and how what we are doing is only helping us get closer to a cure. I adore my family and friends (old and new) and it means so much to me to be able to keep these memories forever. They mean the world to me...
