I absolutely adore this family. Misty is a fairly new friend of mine. We met through another close friend and our daughter's go to pre-school together. So of course I was honored to capture some beautiful memories for her family. We had a perfect fall day and I had so much fun just taking in the beauty of this family and their love for each other.

My tea really has gone cold, but it's fine. It's sleepytime tea so I might not even notice. I'm balancing it on the couch while I type and ice my heel. It's all good. I just love that song. Because I love Eminem and because I love Dido. And because I'm thankful. I swear I have the best people in my life. I'll tell you why in a sec.  We have had a little mini vacation around these parts. 30 something inches of snow over 3 days. I lost track. We did have a pool going, but I lost track when I wasn't winning. I do that. I hope I don't lose track when I am not winning the marathon. That would be awful. Imagine if I lost track and could only find a bar? Kidding. That's not even funny. So we've had 3 days off from school. That's a lot of days off from school. That's a lot of hours of free time. That's a lot of unscheduled, non routine, free for all, fun. I need to get back to work immediately. I mean did get lots done around here and ha...

Best. Day. Ever.

I am still on a finish line high (from the couch under a blanket).  And it's stilllllll raining. Yesterday was more than I ever thought it would be. I could never have dreamed of the amazingness. It was so much more than that. And it has taken me until this morning to really even comprehend what went down yesterday. Like WHAT the HECK went DOWN... Pure awesomeness. We started our morning with a ride into Hopkinton by Mimi & Pepere (thank you so much for making our morning easier). As I sat on the bus to the Athlete's Village I just kept hearing people buzzing around me but in my head I kept repeating, "I am on a bus to Athlete's Village, to run the Boston Marathon. I am on a bus to Athlete's Village to run the Boston Marathon" What in the heck! Project 52

Happy New Year 2013!    I am starting off the year on a level 10. Out of 10. I hope it lasts! I am using my winter downtime to edit, shoot, edit, shoot some more, follow my favorite photography blogs, read as much as I can, take more (yes, even more) photos of my own family and take part (okay committing to) my first ever Project 52. Committing. That's huge. One photo a week. For 52 weeks. I can do that. It's not as easy as it sounds but we all know I love a challenge. Let's see if I can stick to it. Fingers crossed.  Week 1: Time. I wish it would stand still.  Next Up: Fresh. Stay Tuned
