Friday Night Lights

Colin has been dying to go to a Lowell High Football game and I've been dying to take him to one. My 4th graders that came to my wedding back in 2004 are now seniors playing highschool football. I had to get there and of course I brought my camera. So glad I did. It was such a great game. We sat in the stands and I snapped lots of pictures for them. They'll look back on these days in a few years. Time flies too quickly. I'm sure I'll be watching Colin out there someday. Such a great night. There will be more Friday Night Lights for us I'm sure.

It's been awhile since I've updated. My poor blog is always the last thing I think of. It's somewhat of an olympic feat to keep up with life at times and endless summer days have officially taken over the Bedard household and we love every minute of it. Our rotation includes, the beach, the pool, the park. Summer shows and being tourists in our own town. Old friends and new friends. Baseball and swim lessons. Cookouts and celebrations with the best of family and friends. I could get used to this. It's my most favorite time of year. And this is also why... Meet the most precious newborn girl, Harper Grace. My tea's gone cold I'm wonderin why...

My tea really has gone cold, but it's fine. It's sleepytime tea so I might not even notice. I'm balancing it on the couch while I type and ice my heel. It's all good. I just love that song. Because I love Eminem and because I love Dido. And because I'm thankful. I swear I have the best people in my life. I'll tell you why in a sec.  We have had a little mini vacation around these parts. 30 something inches of snow over 3 days. I lost track. We did have a pool going, but I lost track when I wasn't winning. I do that. I hope I don't lose track when I am not winning the marathon. That would be awful. Imagine if I lost track and could only find a bar? Kidding. That's not even funny. So we've had 3 days off from school. That's a lot of days off from school. That's a lot of hours of free time. That's a lot of unscheduled, non routine, free for all, fun. I need to get back to work immediately. I mean did get lots done around here and ha...

Cancer Needs A Cure

For the positive energy and just for being there. It means the world. I have a long road ahead but I am ready for the challenge.  I feel like I need to document this journey so I can look back on it and I pray that when I do we are that much closer to finding a cure for cancer. It needs to happen. I have a lot of time to think on my runs. Every run I think of those who have battled this beast. Those who have beat it, those who are still battling and those who have lost their fight. It's heartbreaking thinking about the things that I do. I run faster. I cry. I push myself until I am done because I have seen the battle firsthand with my beautiful family. I will not ever give up on this fight.
